“Final Fantasy Tactics” To Be Released On iPhone August 4th In Japan
According to Famitsu, one of the best strategy RPG games of our generation, Final Fantasy Tactics, will be hitting the iPhone app store later this week on August 4th in Japan. It will be priced at ¥1,800 (roughly $23).
If you’re curious about how FF Tactics manages on the iPhone’s touchscreen, the video above shows gameplay footage. The funtionality seems smooth enough, with the player able to manually rotate classes and place units on the battlefields with their finger, for example. And the soundtrack is still fantastic.
Unfortunately, there is no set date as to when gamers will be able to relive this epic experience in the States, if ever.
Dear Mr. or Mrs. Nickelback4Lyfe or whoever else it may concern,
For a limited time only, you can change your gamertag at a discounted price of 560 Microsoft Points ($7), 30% off the original price, all throughout this week. Sure, it’s still a tad bit expensive, and XBox Live’s gamertag changing system is flawed, but it’s better than paying full price. So please, for the love of online gaming, do not squander this opportunity.
Sincerely,
-Pop GO
I’m sure you’ve all heard about the terrible attacks that happened in Norway a couple of weeks ago and that since the attack Coop Norway and several other Norwegian retailers have removed certain video games from their shelves. Games like Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (MW2). At first I thought…
This is very well said, a lot more could be added. But I agree…

Borderlands was a big surprise hit in 2009 and found huge success with its pieces of DLC afterwards. It was only inevitable that a second game would be announced in the series. That day has finally come as the aptly named Borderlands 2 has been officially confirmed by Gearbox, the developing studio, and has a release window between April 2012 and Spring 2013. The title is going to be shown off at the upcoming Gamescom in Germany and PAX Prime in Seattle, which are both in August.
PlayStation Vita Delayed Until Early 2012 In US and Europe
Kaz Hirai, Vice President of Sony Computer Entertainment, announced that the PlayStation Vita will launch in early 2012, not during the holiday season of 2011 as earlier projected. Japan, on the other hand, will still get a 2011 release.
No specifics were given for the push back, but he did assure that the Vita will be prepared with a solid launch line-up.
Don’t expect any price cuts, either. The PlayStation Vita will be $249 for Wi-Fi-only and $299 for 3G.

Modder Builds Wooden Sega Saturn
Modder c_mon was commissioned to build this wooden Sega Saturn. And as indicated by the pictures above, it does actually work. Among its many features, included are a cooling fan, a PSOne 5” Screen and stereo with composite video. Not quite sure if he was also commissioned to carve in the Saturn Car logo, but it does still look cool.
Now, for a copy Guardian Heroes and termite spray.
Here’s a look at the multi-coloured PlayStation Vita
Not happy with the black or white PlayStation Vita? Then take a look at all the multi-coloured PlayStation Vitas which were on showcase in Japan. There is probably a colour for everyone. Personally, I would take the original black one since it’s my favourite colour and goes together with my other PlayStation consoles, but the blue PSV isn’t too bad.
Do note that these multi-coloured PSVs are not for sale, they’re just for viewing purposes. But judging from what Sony had been doing for the PSP over the years, you can be sure that they’ll push out multi-coloured PSVs in the future.
So treat it as a preview of what will come in the future.
Fusion Micro: The PSP/Gamecube Love Child
Console mods are always a huge undertaking, especially when trying to create a portable version. Modder Ashen has managed to integrate Gamecube innards into a heavily modded PSP. A secondary analog stick was added as well as two card slots. The bulk of the unit houses the fan and heatsink.
Though qualifying as portable, the Fusion Micro’s 5000mAh battery can only supply two hours of gameplay, and is probably best to remain plugged in.

Reports are currently going around that a single disc of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3’s PC version has been stolen from Fresno, California shipping warehouse, and that it has already been pirated and distributed online.
Read on for the details.

Well, everybody knew this was coming. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 has broken its own previous sales records by selling 6.5 million copies, equaling over $400 million in sales between North America and the U.K. in just a single day.
This shatters Black Ops’ record for 5.6 million copies last year and eclipses Modern Warfare 2’s mark of 4.7 million. The title is also approaching, and will likely exceed, the largest entertainment release in history of $483 million in a weekend held by Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2.

Less reading and more watching, hit the video for the full breakdown of the new moves.
“The Last of Us” Debut Trailer
The mystery of The Last of Us is over as the brand new trailer debuting at the VGA’s today unveils that Naughty Dog, developers behind the Uncharted series, are creating a new game that’s a cross between The Road and I am Legend. The game is sure to be heavy on survival elements and emotional tales.
And is it just me or do the main characters look like Sam Fisher and Ellen Page?
